Hearts of Oak Head Coach Samuel Boadu deserves praise for the club’s recent rise, according to Asante Kotoko legend Frimpong Manso.
Boadu, according to Frimpong Manso took a big risk by leaving his comfort zone to join Hearts of Oak whose form was then wobbly. The club was then struggling for both consistency and form on the pitch while instability at both-g- administrative and technical team level had caused hiccups in their progress as a club.
Despite the picture looking gloomy, Boadu chose the Phobians after he resigned from Medeama SC.
However, since coming on board, he’s applied his midas touch and has transformed Hearts’ season. The club are now the odds on favorite to win the league title with 3 matches remaining.
Speaking to Kumasi based Silver FM in the aftermath of their defeat of Kotoko, Frimpong Manso singled out Samuel Boadu for special praise.
“Coach Boadu deserves some commendation,” Frimpong Manso told Silver FM.
“If you look at the situatioon he found himself in, leaving Medeama at that time was a big risk…and since he came, things have gone well for him. Although there are three matches remaining, but I think he deserves all this,” he added.
