Asante Kotoko Legend, Sarfo Gyamfi, has revealed games between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko go beyond events on the green field.
Sunday’s meeting two of Ghana’s most successful clubs has been dubbed by many as the title decider as both teams go into the game joint top and level on points with only goal difference separating the two.
Hearts go into the game unbeaten in their last 8 games, winning 7 of those games and conceding just two goals in that run whilst Kotoko have won 3 of their last 4.
However, according to the 1992 AFCON runner-up, the form guide and momentum going into games of this nature usually doesn’t count; it is the club the fortifies itself with regards to the spirit world that would carry the day at the end of the 90 minutes.
“There’s juju in football because Hearts and Kotoko has nothing to do with form” – Sarfo Gyamfi revealed.
“Spiritually the more powerful team will win the match, I know that this coming Sunday” – he added.
“Players who don’t have spiritual background will be affected, but those that have a background in the spiritual side of the game and have experience with these things will be fine” – Sarfo Gyamfi further disclosed.
