Ghanaian winger Solomon Asante was in superb form for Phoenix Rising in their 2-1 win over Sacramento Republic FC on Saturday.

The skipper scored and assisted his team’s two goals as they edge their opponent on the day.

Asante opened the scoring on the night with a well executed free kick in the top corner of the net in the 31st minute of the game.

David Egbo grabbed the second for Phoenix Rising FC in the 63rd minute of the game through a Solomon Asante’s assist before the host pulled one back with eighteen minutes to end the match
