Gabriel Twumasi, a prophet with Universal Christ Church has warned the Ghana Football Association to postpone the Super Clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko if it rains on Sunday.
The capital has been hit with heavy rains a day before the kickoff of the most anticipated game in Ghana’s football history.
While many of the Phobian fateful have linked the rains to a sign of victory in the super clash and are calling for more rains, Prophet Gabriel Twumasi thinks otherwise
According to Prophet, the game should be postponed if it rains on Sunday because it will bring bad omen.
“There’s a possibility that a series of unfortunate events might happen and in order to avoid it and chaos from happening people will have to avoid the crowd”, he told Happy FM.
“If it doesn’t rain on the said date then the match can go on but if it does, I’ll advise organizers of the game to cancel it immediately without hesitation”
“For all of us to be safe, if it rains on Sunday and people see rainbows in the sky pls I’ll plead with authorities to cancel the game. They should forget what they’ll get in return and cancel it” he added.
Sunday’s top-of-table clash comes off at the Accra Sports Stadium at 3pm.
