In form Hearts of Oak attacker Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored the winner as Hearts of Oak beat Asante Kotoko by 1-0 in Sunday’s super clash.
The top of the table clash lived up to the billing as the game was eagerly contested and very little to separate the two teams.
Afriyie Barnieh’s moment of glory came in the second of half as he managed to beat the offside trap set by the Kotoko defense to knock the ball home and set Hearts to victory.
It was Barnieh’s third goal in his last 3 games following up from his brilliant assist in Hearts of Oak’s midweek victory over Legon Cities.
Hearts of Oak’s victory means they are now three points clear at the top of the Ghana Premier League table.
