Turkish-based winger Edwin Gyasi is hoping for a return to the senior national team, Black Stars.
Gyasi, who hasn’t played for the Black Stars since 2018 is looking forward to a recall.
The attacker received his maiden call-up in 2017 under then-head coach Kwesi Appiah.
Gyasi was then handed subsequent call-ups from which he scored his first goal for Ghana against Egypt in a World Cup qualification match at the Cape Coast Stadium in November 2017.
Opportunities since then have been far and few but the young is determined to work his way back into the plans of current Black Stars boss CK Akonnor.
“This is my country and I opted to play for [Ghana] and for me, I am ready to make a return anytime because it is always an honour to play for your national team” – he told Accra-based Angel TV.
“My doors are always open and anytime CK Akonnor calls me, I am ready to show up and play for the national team,” he added.
