The Ghana Football Association(GFA) has called-off the 2020/21 MTN FA Cup round of 32 encounters between Legon Cities and Phar Rangers.
The game was scheduled to come off Saturday, June 19, 2021, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
But the top hierarchy of the football association in the West African country has called off the game due to a pending misconduct case against Division One League outfit.
A letter from the FA to Legon Cities read;
“Please be informed that the 2020/2021 MTN FA Cup Round of 32 match between Legon Cities FC and Phar Rangers will not be played this weekend due to a pending misconduct case before the GFA Disciplinary Committee against Phar Rangers FC.
All stakeholders should kindly take note.
Sporting regards.”
The Royals will now have to wait for the GFA for the next line of action.
