Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel TokuĀ has revealed his next target is to get invitation into the Ghana Under 23 national team.
Toku made his national debut with the Black Starlet during the 2017 U17 World Cup in India but has since not been call up to any of the National teams since he got promoted to the U20 national.
The winger who is currently plying his trade for Bulgarian top flight Bortev Plovdiv on loan from Danish First Division side Fremad Amager says getting invitation to the National U23 team will help revive his career.
“My target is to get a call up from the U23 national team or the Black Stars.
“I feel okay for now if I don’t get a call up because the coach knows what is good for him although he has coached me at Starlet before and am okay with his decisions. – He told Original Fm’s.
Toku started his career at Cheetah FC before signing for Danish side Fremad Amager.
