GFA President Kurt E.S Okraku has lauded the introduction of the “Catch Them Young Refereeing” policy aimed at unearthing young talented referees across the country.
The policy is designed to identify, educate and train young talents between the ages of 13-16 to officiate juvenile matches within their regions.
”One of the things i am positive about is the introduction of the Catch Them Young Policy. it’s been implemented across the ten regions and i think the long term benefits will be enormous.
The developmental agenda of referees in Ghana is progressive and its one of things we are working on” the FA Chief said on WarmUP Plus show on TV3.
The initiative was birthed by the Kurt Okraku led GFA-administration to help prepare the way for the next generation of Ghanaian referees.
The flagship programme has been warmly received and applauded by football lovers in the country.
