WAFA then went ahead to secure the second of the afternoon to end the first half with the advantage courtesy Justus Torsutey who netted in the 31st minute.
The visitors could have boosted their top four chances with a win on the afternoon, but they were unable to hold on to their lead, as Liberty rallied back to secure the win.
Abraham Wayo and Kwaku Karikari netted within eight minutes in the second half, with the former equalizing from the penalty spot in the 64th minute.
Silas Tetteh’s side went into the game with the priority of putting up a good performance to get themselves out of the relegation zone.
With Elmina Sharks losing out to Dreams FC, Liberty haveĀ achieved their target by getting out of the danger zone, as they have been replaced by Sharks.
