English championship side, Swansea City have announced the departure of Ghanaian international Andre Ayew from the club, following the conclusion of the 2020/2021 season.
Ayew was part of the Swansea side that failed to secure promotion to the Premier League for the second consecutive year, losing out to Brentford in the playoffs finals this year.
Ayew was instrumental in the playoffs just as he has been for the club in the past two seasons since returning from his loan spell at Fernabache.
He has bagged 35 goals for the club within that period and now leaves as a hero.
Andre Ayew’s departure from the club was announced this morning alongside other players who have come to the end of their contract.
The others are Kieron Freeman, Declan John and Barrie McKay.
Andre Ayew is expected to be involved when the Black Stars play Morocco and Ivory Coast in the two friendlies slated for the month.
