Ghana and Ashdod defender Montari Kamaheni has been named among the best defenders in the Isreali top-flight League following his outstanding display in the just ended campaign.
The 21-year-old left back was nominated alongside Maccabi Haifa’s duo Bogdan Planic and Sun Menahem.
The Former Dreams FC defender had an outstanding display for the club helping them to secure a place in the UEFA Conference League.
He made 38 appearances for the club scoring a goal and making four assist in the process.
He also appeared in League’s team of the week for five times.
Montari Kameheni’s performance convinced the club to hand him a permanent deal after ending hisĀ year loan spell.
He was also named as the best African U20 left back by the IFFHS.
