Ahead of his side’s MTN FA Cup round 64th clash against Asante Kotoko, head coach of Bekwai Youth Academy Abdul Rahman has stated they have so much respect for the Porcupines Warriors but do not fear them.
The Bekwai based Division One Side after overcoming Achiken FC are looking to add the Porcupines to the list of their victims on Wednesday at the Gyamfi’s Park.
According to the coach, there’s no pressure on his team because Asante Kotoko need the qualifications more than his side.
“Asante Kotoko is one of the biggest clubs in the country and have achieved a lot as a club so we respect them for that but we are confident of beating Asante Kotoko tomorrow in the MTN FA Cup round of 64 in Bekwai and make it to the last 32.
“There is no pressure on BYF Academy but rather on Kotoko because they (Kotoko) needs to advance to the next stage more than BYF Academy.
The coach also revealed there has been no special training as they are doing their normal preparation for the game on Wednesday.
“We are doing our normal training and my players are determined to make history and also seal big contracts for themselves as Samuel Frimpong did when both teams met in the FA CUP in 2017” He added.
