Ghana and FC Maritimo winger Johnson Owusu has made hefty donations to his boyhood club, Peace FC as way of giving back to society.
The former Dreams FC winger donated Footballs, Boots, Bibs and set of jerseys to the club following his return to Ghana for holidays.
Owusu had a great season with Marítimo FC, where he made 19 appearances for Marítimo, Marítimo B and the U23, scoring 6 goals with 8 assists.
Speaking at a short ceremony, Owusu thanked his coaches and agency for the support.
“It always feels good to be back home and visiting where all the dreams started. I’m much glad to offer my small token to my boyhood club, where my ambitions of becoming a professional footballer began”.
“My sincerest appreciation goes out to my partners globalsportsandplay for making this happen” he said.
