Ghanaian forward Joseph Paintsil looks set for a return to Turkey but this time around with Turkish side Adana Demirspor.
Paintsil, who spent last season on loan at Turkish side MKE Ankaragucu has returned to his parent club, KRC Genk after suffering relegation with the club.
Despite suffering relegation to the Turkish second tier, the former Tema Youth marksman had a stellar season with the side, bagging 11 goals in 33 games.
According to reports, Genk and Adana Demirspor are in advance talks and close to reaching an agreement over the definitive transfer of Joseph Paintsil.
Demirspor were crowned Champions of the Turkish second-tier league and wants to strengthen their squad in order to make a good impact in the Turkish first division.
Meanwhile, Genk would be willing to let Paintsil go for 700,000 euros.
He has a year left on his current contract with Genk.
