Eleven Wonders coach, Ignatius Osei Fosu, has insisted they were ‘tactically’ better than Accra Hearts of Oak despite their defeat to the Phobians at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in matchday 25 of the Ghana Premier League on Friday.
The Phobians defeated the Techiman based side by 1-0 thanks to Kojo Obeng Junior’s goal in the first half of the game.
Speaking to the media after the game, the outspoken trainer claimed he won the tactical Battle despite suffering defeat on the day.
“I think tactically we beat them. The were only ballooning the ball, they did not pass from first half to second half. I felt Hearts of Oak was possessive team, the coach keep talking about he is possessing, but we never saw that thing… But it is just that we gave away a goal,” he said after the game.
The coach also shared his view on the performance of the officiating officials.
“I talked about referee taking the shine away. From where I was sitting and from the replay I saw from StarTimes, that was a penalty on any day, and I am surprised that a FIFA referee of that caliber did not see it.”
Eleven Wonders are now at the 15th position with 27 points. Just a point is separating them from King Faisal and Liberty Professionals who are at the 16th and 17th position respectively
