Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Fredrick Acheampong has been named the General Coordinator for the 2021 Beach Soccer AFCON in Senegal.

The hardworking and smart young man will play a key role and the successful organisation and execution of the tournament being hosted in Sali, Senegal.

Frederick, also the Treasurer of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) is leading a group of Technical head managing the fourth edition of the Premier Beach Soccer tournament.

The enterprising football administrator is using his vast experiences and expertise to coordinate all events at the AFCON as well as having oversight responsibilities in all events at the tournament.

Famously known as Achie, Acheampong was a member of the Local Organising Committee during the WAFU Zone B championship in 2017, AWCON 2018, AFCON 2019, WAFU 2020, as well as match coordinator during CAF Inter-clubs competitions.

The Beach Soccer AFCON start last Sunday, May 23, 2021 and it is due to end on Saturday, May 29, 2021
