Ludogorets Razgrad Elvis Manu could be set for a length spell on the sidelines after suffering an injury is his club’s 2-1 at home over the weekend.
The 27-year-old Dutchman with Ghanaian roots was injured during the clash with the blacks and whites.
This happened in a situation where Manu received a second yellow card. Then he took the ball for a long time in the penalty area, and then crashed into the goalkeeper Ilko Pirgov.
After the expulsion, Manu received medical attention. He waited for the team to be awarded on the occasion of the 10th consecutive title.
However, Manu appeared at the ceremony on crutches. The player was then thoroughly examined at a local hospital. Ludogorets’ hopes are that the trauma will not be so severe and that he will be on the line for the summer training. It is not yet clear how long his treatment will last.
