WAFA attacker Abdul Basit Issah was adjudged Man of the Match as the Sogakope based side edged out Eleven Wonders 1-0 at the WAFA Park on Sunday.

Basit, who joined the academy boys during the second transfer window scored what could be a goal-of-the-season contender to give the home side a narrow victory.

Lawrence Agyekum delivered a corner kick and Issah stylishly hit an overhead kick to send the net bulging.

Basit’s stunner was his first goal for the club since joining them during the second transfer window.
