Ghana Premier League club Legon Cities and its player Joseph Adjei have rendered a passionate and sincere apology to Justice Blay.
The apology stems from an action during a premier league game between Medeama SC and Legon Cities on Sunday
In the game, Adjei delivered a vicious tackle on Blay which led to the break of his leg. Blay was immediately stretched off the pitch while Joseph Adjei was shown a red card.
After diagnosing the situation, it has been revealed that Justice Blay will miss not less than 3 months.
Following the furore that has followed the incident, Legon Cities have come out to apologize and explain that Adjei did not make the tackle with malicious intent.
The club tweeted via their official Twitter handle.
There was absolutely no deliberate intention on the part of Joseph Adjei to cause an injury to @JusticeBlay_ in our game against @MedeamaSC on Sunday. Joe renders the most sincerest apology to Justice and to the @MedeamaSC family. We are confident @JusticeBlay_ will be back soon
