Ghanaian striker Ja-far Abdul Samed Issah has completed a move to Estonian side Tartu JK Welco, footballmadeinghana.com can confirm.
The 23-year old completed his move to the Estonia Premier League side on Friday and is expected to inject the team with his scoring prowess.
Announcing the signing if the Ghanaians striker, Welco wrote on Facebook that Issah, like many boys in his home country, started playing football at a very young age.
He arrived in Estonia via Tallinn Levadia when he went there for testing in the summer of 2019.
“After that, I started watching Estonian football and now I am in Welco to share my talent with the club,” explained Issah.
Looking ahead to the season, Issah said his strengths were speed and power, which should give the team more strength in front of goal.
Issah’s personal goal is to be the top scorer in the Premier League and to help Welco in the Premier League.
Welco settled for a stalemate with Tallinn FC Flora in the opening round of the Premier League.
The Premier League season will continue according to the current plan in early May.
