Ashdod defender Montari Kameheni is optimistic of their chances of qualifying for Europe despite following their impressive performance in the ongoing season.
Ashdod are sitting 3rd position, 48 points after 30 games, 6 points ahead of 4th place Maccabi Petah tikva.
With six games to end the league, the former Dreams FC defender believes they are capable of maintaining their place and qualify for Europe.
The left back after playing a key role in his side’s 1-1 draw with second place Maccabi Tell Aviv, insisted their target is European qualifications.
“We have a good chance to qualify to Europe, the four points gap between us and the fourth place is very ohk. We will keep working hard to till the end of the season.” He told FootballMadeInGhana.com.

Montari Kameheni is having one of his best season’s at the club since since joining them from Ghanaian side Dreams FC.
He has featured in 29 games for the side in the current campaign.
