Midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has expressed delight after scoring his debut goal for Anderlecht in their heavy away win at Royal Antwerp.
Ashimeru broke the deadlock of the game as his side went on to wallop Antwerp 4-1 on Monday in the Belgium Jupiter pro league.
The former WAFA midfielder who scored his first league game for the club took his official Twitter account to express his delight with his goal.
“Great team performance on the road last night ,elated to be on the scoresheet. We keep pushing!,” he posted on Twitter
Amir Murillo of Panama added the second for the visitors before Belgium midfielders El Hadj and Yari Verschaeren capped it off with a goal each to complete a 4-0.
