Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko forward Kwame Poku has admitted his disappointment on his Black Stars debut.
Poku, who was one of the brightest prospects on the local scene as at the time of his callup, failed to glitter in his first game for the Senior national team leading to him being hauled off at halftime.
The 22-year old who made his Ghana debut against South Africa in the penultimate AFCON qualifier admitted he put up a stinker.
“I wasn’t really satisfied with my performance at the Black Stars but the important thing is we qualified” – he said
Poku was however hopeful he will be given another chance to prove his mettle with the Black Stars.
“But I will be surprised if I don’t get invited again because I need more games to prove myself” – he added.
Poku is now plying his trade in Algeria with USM Algers following his move from Ghana giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
