New King Faisal Coach Kassim Gokyildiz is certain he will succeed at the club.
The Turkish gaffer joined the Ghana Premier League side last month to help their fight against relegation from the top flight.
After embarking on a heavy recruitment during the second round window, Coach Gokyildiz has a tough task of blending both old and new players to form a formidable unit to aid their quest for survival.
Speaking exclusively to footballmadeinghana.com ahead of his first official game, Coach Gokyildiz sounded upbeat about his chances of success at his new club.
“I did not come 9000 kilometers here not to succeed. Up till now, every team I’ve been successful at every team (I’ve worked with). And I’m absolutely sure I can also reach this level here,” he said.
Despite being positive about the future, Kassim Gokyildiz is pleading for time to mould the team into a solid unit that can competently push for survival.
“But it will take a little bit time, because there are new players who unfortunately haven’t played (together) for a long time. They need much practice and I’m very sure that within a short time, the new players and old players will become a good unit that will show us a (good) performance on the pitch,” he concluded.
King Faisal will play against WAFA at home during the opening weekend of the second round of the Ghana Premier League.
