Crystal Palace striker Jordan Ayew recorded his 18th goal for Ghana in the 2021 AFCON Qualifier over Sao Tome and Principe on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The striker expertly converted a spot kick on the 32nd minute to give Ghana a 2-0 advantage before the break.
Jordan was put through by Wakaso in the chase for Ghana’s second goal but was brought down in the glaring view of the referee who did not hesitate to give Ghana a penalty.
Jordan then converted to increase Ghana’s tally to 2 and his personal tally to 18.
The former Swansea City striker is making his 64th appearance for the Ghana national team, bagging his 18th goal in the process.
Jordan made his debut for Ghana in 2010 in the AFCON Qualifier against Eswatini under Serbian trainer Milovan Rajevac.
