Ashanti midfielder Appiah McCarthy will miss the rest of the 2020/2021 season following his injury against Legon Cities in matchday 12 of the Ghana Premier League.

The player failed to recover from an injury he sustained during the game against Legon Cities in Accra.

McCarthy was missing in the 30-man Squad announced by the club for the second round of the campaign.

The 24- year old has been Impressive for the Miners netting three goals before his injury.

His absence affected the performances of the club which saw them dropped from the top four to tenth on the table after the first round.
