Hearts of Oak attacker Isaac Mensah missed a crucial penalty his Super Clash debut on Sunday when the Phobians drew goaless with bitter rivals Asante Kotoko.
The two teams met in a re-arranged Ghana Premier League fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Mensah who was introduced in the 58th minutes for Kwadwo Obeng Junior had the golden opportunity to win the game for the Phobians in the 70th minute after he was brought down in the penalty box by Razak Abalora.
The young attacker stepped up to take it but his effort was however thwarted by a determined Razak Abalora who pushed the ball away for a corner kick.
Mensah who before the game had score the match winner against Liberty Professionals and Ebusua Dwarfs would have wish to add the Porcupines to the list of his victims.
The former Nkoranza Warriors attacker will be looking to put this behind him and score more goal for the Phobians.
Hearts of Oak will wrap up their first round fixture on Sunday when they welcome West African Football Academy at the Accra Sports Stadium.
