Coveted Eleven Wonders attacking midfielder Ibrahim Salifu’s move to Hearts of Oak is back on, FMIG can exclusively report.

The 20 year old has been rumored to be joining Hearts of Oak for the past few months but the deal looked likely to hit a snag as FMIG reported on Thursday.

However in a latest twist of events, the player’s move to the Phobians is back on following last minute talks.

Below, FMIG will explain what has catapulted the move back to prominence and how soon it is likely to be finalised.

WHAT’S NEW
Hearts of Oak have come up with an improved offer for the young talent.

The Club’s hierarchy will pay an amount of GH¢ 70,000 as transfer fee to his club, Eleven Wonders.

There will be no signing-on fee to be paid the player.

Salifu Ibrahim will also become one of the top earners at the club. He will earn a reported GH¢3,500 at Hearts of Oak plus other performance related incentives.

ANYTHING ELSE
Yes, There is a special arrangement to get the player every amount he is owed by his current club Eleven Wonders.

Per this arrangement, Hearts of Oak have proposed to Eleven Wonders to deduct whatever amount owed the player (believed to be around GH¢ 11,000 and pay him out of the transfer fee.

The other option is to pay the whole amount to the club and they then pay the player every penny owed.

Medeama’s interest in the player was real. But the player was keen on joining the Rainbow club.

WHEN IS SALIFU SIGNING
Barring any last minute hitch, Salifu Ibrahim should sign for Hearts of Oak by close of day, Friday February 26.

Salifu Ibrahim is a left footed ball dazzler currently playing for Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League.

He is a product of the Unistar Academy and has shot to fame nationwide due to his exploits in the Ghana Premier League this season.

His outstanding performances has seen him win several man of the match awards putting him in the picture as a potential overall MVP Award winner at the end of the 2020-21 season.

His performances recently saw him get an invite into the Black Stars.
