On-loan Chelsea defender Baba Rahman has announced his arrival in the Greece Super League 1 with a sexy goal on his debut for POAK in their clash with Lamia on Saturday afternoon.
Baba blasted home the opener for his side against Lamia on the 18th minute with the beautiful finish.
Nineteen year old Christos Tzolis put through the Ghanaian who made no mistake in making history by opening his scoring account with his new side.
The 26-year old joined the Greek side this winter and had to wait until today to make his debut in the Super League 1.
This game is Rahman’s first taste of top league action in over a year after injuring his knee while playing for Mallorca in the Spanish La Liga back in 2019.
Rahman will be hoping that he enjoys a successful spell in Greece having seen his last loan spell at Mallorca end after just three games due to a long-term knee injury.
PAOK are in the hunt for the title and currently sit 4th on the table behind Olympiacos, AEK Athens and third placed Aris.
A win today will send PAOK to 2nd place while Lamia who are fighting relegation will remain 12th even if they win the game today.
