The Black Satellites of Ghana come up against their Tanzania counterparts in the ongoing U20 AFCON in Mauritania on Tuesday afternoon.
Following the addition of some foreign-based players to the side after the WAFU U20 tournament, Coach Karim Zito is likely to make some changes to his side in their opening game against Tanzaia.
A close observation of the team’s final training ahead of the game gives indications of how the coach wants to approach the game and the personnel to use.
Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim is likely to be maintained in post with Philimon Baffour starting from the right back position.
Baffour after the first game against Nigeria in the WAFU U20 Championship could not play again after picking an injury but has since recovered.
Benjamin Aloma is likely to also maintain his position as the preferred left back for Zito as Frank Assinki replaces Kobina Amoah who could not make it to the tournament after a wonderful display in Benin during the WAFU U20 Championship.
Assinki who plays for HB Koge in Denmark may be partnered at the heart of defence by Nathaniel Adjei while Emmanuel Essiam and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku play in the middle with Sulemana Mohammed and Eric Appiah playing on the flanks.
Percious Boah of Dreams FC and Joselpho Barnes who plays for Schalke 04 could be leading the attack for Ghana.
The game will be LIVE on Ghana’s most enterprising sports network GTV Sports+ at 15:00GMT.
