Ghana U-17 defender Mahmoud Muhaison has expressed disappointment in his team’s inability to beat Morocco on Thursday.
The Black Starlets faced their Moroccan colleagues in the final match of a two-way friendly exercise between the two sides.
Ghana lost the first game 2-1 on Monday and sought revenge in yesterday’s encounter.
However, the game ended in a goalless stalemate much to disappointment of Muhaison Mahmoud who played very well at the back.
“We entered the game with the intention to win. They had beaten us in the first game. But we had observed our mistakes in the first game and wanted to also beat them in the second game,” Muhaison Mahmoud said after the game.
“So with this result, I can say I am a bit disappointed about not winning.
“I wanted us to win and truly we created some decent chances. Hopefully we get to record a win in subsequent matches,” he added.
Muhaison Mahmoud spoke highly of the friendly exercise and requested for more in the future.
“If we continue to get these kind of matches to play, we shall improve and develop into better players for the senior national teams like the Black Stars.
“I would love it if we are to get more of such games in the future,” he concluded.
