Karela United boss Evans Adotey has been named Ghana Premier League coach of the month for January.
He won the award ahead of Dreams FC’s Vladislav Viric, Legon Cities’ Bashir Hayford and Kotoko coach Johnson Smith.
Adotey led Karela United to stay at the summit of the league in the entire month. They won three games and drew one and lost once in the month of January.
All three wins came at home and the draw was at away to Great Olympics. – 10 points.
Karela United have since lost their top position to Asante Kotoko following their defeat against the Porcupines in the matchday 13 of the Ghana Premier League.
Adottey will receive NASCO Television and a personalized trophy from the award sponsors, Electroland Ghana Limited(NASCO).
