Hearts of Oak are on the verge of signing Black Stars defender Lee Addy for the second round of the Ghana Premier League season.
Addy, 30, has been training with the Phobians for some days now and could penned a deal with the club in the coming days.
Speaking to Starr Sports, the defender confirmed that his move to Hearts of Oak is almost done.
“Well I have always been a Hearts of Oak fan but you know football is purely business now so I told myself I will play for the phobians before I call it a quit and I am relishing that dream now.
“I have been training with them for some time now and its almost a done deal so soon I will let my experience come to bear for all to see that I still have what it takes to help them achieve success “he told Starr Sports.
The Ex-Bereit’s Chelsea player returned to the country last year after a spell in Ethiopia. He and other 18 players were forced to plead for assistance back home due to COVID-19.
Lee Addy has had stints with Dinamo Zagreb, Red Star Belgrade, DaliaArabianan and Lusaka Dynamos.
He was part of the Ghana national squad at the 2010 African Cup of Nation having played four matches including the lost final against Egypt.
Addy also took part in the 2010 World Cup hosted by South African.
