Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu finally made his first appearance in English football six months after joining Southampton from Real Valladolid in Spanish La Liga.
The defender whose debut was delayed due to injuries and documentation played 90 minutes against Wolves in the FA CUP 5th round game away at the Mollineux Stadium.
Southampton won the game 2-0 with goals from Danny Ings and Stuart Armstrong to send the Saints into the Quarter Final of the prestigious competition.
The centre back completed 48 of his 55 attempted passes representing 87%, made 8 clearances, 5 recoveries, won 5 duels and 1 interception to keep a clean sheet on the road.
Southampton will face Championship club AFC Bournemouth in the Quarter final.
