Head coach of Medeama SC Samuel Boadu says it’s unfortunate his side lost to King Faisal in their matchday 13 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Mauve and Yellow side’s suffered a 0-1 defeat to King Faisal at the Ohene Ameyaw Park on Tuesday, a late strike by Kwame Peprah gave the home side the maximum points.
Speaking to the media after the game, Boadu lauded the performance of his boys despite the defeat.
“It’s unfortunate that we lost the game. You could see tactically we were disciplined. My guys played well. We variated the tactics in the second half. Unfortunately it was a free kick that brought the goal.
Boadu ended by lavishing praise on King Faisal insisting they can maintain their Premier League status if they continue playing like they did against Medeama.
“They did well. If they continue playing like this they can go far. They have some good players, as I said if they play the rest of the games like they play today. They will survive.” He added
