The team at FMIG has put together a team of best performers in the Ghana Premier League during Match Week 13.
From the goalkeeper to the last outfield player, we have taken time to give the various reasons that qualifies the players to make our Team of the Week
FMIG Team of Week 13
1- Winfred Honu ( Legon Cities) – The goalkeeper was the hero on the day as Legon Cities picked a point against Hearts of Oak. Made 3-4 crucial saves to denied Hearts of Oak on the day. Was name man of the match for his performance on the day
2- Faridu Joseph ( King Faisal) – What a game he had for King Faisal. The young defender caused a lot of problems for Medeama. His crosses and overlappings were on point. Assisted Kwame Peprah for the only goal of the game
3- Imoro Ibrahim ( Asante Kotoko) – Scored the opener for Asante Kotoko against his former club. The left back was one of the best player’s on the pitch. Always dangerous when going forward.
4- Mubrak Yussif ( Asante Kotoko) – Great game by the former Ashantigold defender. Made a great goal line clearance to prevent karela from taking the lead. Dealt very well with the threat of Kwame Boateng.
5- Masawudu Abdullahi ( Dreams FC) – Made sure Dreams kept a clean sheets on the day. Kept Samuel Boakye quiet in the game. Was very solid throughout the game.
6- Sulemana Fahadu ( Dreams FC) – Continued his excellent form for Dreams with another goal to his name.
7-Emmanuel Osei Baffour ( Aduana) – Baffour scored the only goal of the game as Aduana Stars defeated WAFA at the Agyemang Badu Park.
8- Latif Anabila ( Asante Kotoko) – Played his best game in Asante Kotoko shirt against Karela United. Latif dominated and bossed the midfield for the Porcupines as they ended Karela United home invincibility. Was voted man of the match.
9- Kwame Peprah ( King Faisal) – Scored the only goal of the game as King Faisal returned to winning ways against Medeama. The goal was his eighth of the season. Also voted MVP for the game.
10- Kwame Opoku ( Asante Kotoko) – Finally brought an end to his four game drought by scoring the second for the Porcupines against Karela United. Opoku was a thorn in the flesh of Karela defense. He also contributed to Asante Kotoko opener.
11- Joseph Esso ( Dreams FC) – Returned on the scoresheet to inspire Dreams FC to 0-2 away win against Eleven Wonders. Esso was impressive on the day and made things difficult for the home team.
