Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah has completed a move to Italian Serie A club Cagliari Calcio on a free transfer.
Asamoah signed a deal which will see him remain at the club till the end of the 2020/2021 season.
The 32-year-old has been unattached since terminating his contract with Inter Milan in October 2020.
A statement on the club’s official website reads “Cagliari Calcio announces that it has acquired the right to Kwadwo Asamoah’s sports performances: the player has signed a contract that binds him to the Club until the end of this season.”
Asamoah has rich experience in Italy football having feature for several clubs including Torino, Udinese Juventus and recently Inter Milan.
He becomes the second Ghanaian player to joined the the club after Alfred Duncan join on loan from Fiorentina.
