Asante Kotoko have been placed in Pot 3 of the CAF Confederation Cup additional preliminary round draw.

The draw is set to take place later today, Friday January 8, 2020 at 12:00 pm GMT.

Kotoko dropped to the CAF Confederation Cup following their elimination from the Champions League under bizarre circumstances.

The Ghanaian giant was unable to raise a team of 15 as required for their CAF Champions League last round of qualifier second leg clash against Al Hilal Omdurman.

They are however disputing their disqualification and have threatened to forward the matter to the Court of Arbitration for Sports.

However, before the matter is even heard, CAF will decide on the pairings for the CAF Confederation Cup as well as the group for the Champions League.
