Asante Kotoko have been granted permission to honor their CAF sanctioned training session today at 6pm GMT ahead of their Champions League clash with Al Hilal Omdurman, FMIG can report.
This is after the playing body who are camped together with technical and management members in Sudan initially refused to train at the earlier scheduled time on Tuesday January 5.
Players agitated over unpaid per diems and other entitlements; deciding against training to communicate firmly their stance to management.
After resolving the issue, management sought sanctioning from the appropriate quarters to get access to train at the designated venue for the game on Wednesday January 6.
The Porcupine Warriors are in Sudan where they are preparing for their all important CAF Champions League clash against Al Hilal Omdurman.
Kotoko trail the tie following their first leg defeat on home soil 2 weeks ago.
They must beat Hilal to stand any chances of progressing to the Group Stage of Africa’s premier club competition.
