Acting Communication Manager of Asante Kotoko David Obeng Nyarko has spoken about the club’s readiness ahead of their CAF Champions League second leg tie against Al Hilal.
The Porcupine Warriors fell to a 1-0 defeat against the Sudanese giants in the first leg encounter which was played at the Accra Sports Stadium last week.
The Ghana Premier League giants will need a miracle to overturn the result in Omdurman in a week’s time.
Speaking in an interview with Kessben Sports, Obeng was confident management have made the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth travel to Sudan for the all important clash.
“We have already began preparations towards the second leg. As a matter of fact, we put all our plans in motion immediately after the draw.
Traveling during this COVID-19 pandemic comes with a lot of challenges so if you don’t start preparing early you may find yourself in a very difficult situation. We are going to put out a statement very soon detailing our travel plans.
We will also like to use this opportunity assure the supporters that Asante will be great again and we are working very hard to put the club on a high pedestal”
