Burkina Faso international Amed Toure is set to make a sensational return to the Ghana Premier League in the January transfer window, FootballMadeInGhana understand.
Toure is closing in on a deal to join Medeama SC in the coming days following a protracted negotiations.
According to a source close to the player, talks are in advanced between the two parties and a deal could be reached in the coming days.
The Ghanaian club identified the former Asante Kotoko striker as the solution to their attacking problem following their recent struggles infront of goal.
Medeama despite the signings of Abass Mohammed and Basit Adams have struggled to replace Prince Opoku Agyemang and Nana Kofi Babil since their departure following the truncation of the League.
Toure who joined Malian side Kaloum Stars earlier this year could finalize the deal to the Tarkwa based side in the coming days.
The goal poacher has previously played for Ghanaian clubs such as Asante Kotoko, Bechem United and Kessben FC (Medeama SC), As Vita Club, Lebanese side Al-Nejmeh, El Gouna in Egypt and Belgian side KSC Lokeren.
