Division one league side Achiken FC has been moved to Assin Fosu in the Central region follow a change of new ownership.
The Obuasi based club has now been moved to the Central Region ( Assin Fosu) following a successful takeover by the new owners.
The new owners of the club are expected to change the name of the club to Soccer Angels in the coming days before the start of the Division One League campaign.
A letter addressed to the General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association said,
“We wish to inform your oufit that our club Achiken FC has successfully completed the changed ownership procedure, and as such wish to inform your high office”
The letter stated the new owners of the club, with Emmanuel Danso Akonko as the director.
Mr Emmanuel Danso Akonkoh, an Electrical engineer, is also the Chairman of the Assin Central District Footbal Association..
It is believed the take over cost around 200,000 Ghana Cedis outright purchase, including all assets and Liabilities of Achiken FC.
