Sacked assistant coach of King Faisal Mustapha Balewa has accused management members of the club for being the root cause of the clubs woes.
Balewa who was sacked together with other members of the technical team says management didn’t give them the maximum support during their tenure hence the club’s poor performance in the Ghana Premier League.
Management of the club on Saturday dissolved the SlaviĊĦa-technical led technical team following a poor start to the Ghana Premier League.
The club after six games had suffered four defeat, drawn one with only a win to show.
In an interview with Zuria FM, the former New Edubiase coach revealed lack of support from management caused their sacking.
“For me we did very well. You can’t blame us for what happened during the truncated league.
“Because we didn’t have enough time to do preseason which we know is very important in building team.
“This season we had the best of preparation and scoring three goals at WAFA shows how solid our team is.
“The defeat at Karela United and Ashantigold was as results of many factors which can’t be blamed on the technical team.
“A lot happened which I’m sure management didn’t inform Alhaji. They didn’t inform Alhaji what happened before, during and after our game against Karela United and Ashantigold, if they had done that, I’m sure Alhaji wouldn’t have blame us for those defeated.”
Balewa also accused management of the club of bringing a physical trainer who refused to adhere to the direction of the head coach.
“We were there when management brought former Physical trainer of Asante Kotoko to come and take the boys through physical training.
“Physicals are done during pre-season but here we are the Physical trainer taking the Boys through rigorous session with a day to game. Sometimes the coach complains but it lands on deaf hear”
Balewa ended by advising the management to offer the newly formed technical team the maximum support if they want them to turn the fortunes of the club.
He also expressed his readiness to return to the club should management recall him.
