Hearts of Oak Head Coach Kosta Papic has commended his team for taking all 3 points against King Faisal but admits their performance could get better.
The Phobians visited the Techiman Park to face King Faisal on Saturday in a Ghana Premier League Match Week 6 encounter.
Hearts of Oak took the lead through midfielder Benjamin Afutu but King Faisal leveled after the break from Kwadwo Frimpong.
With few minutes to end proceedings, Hearts were awarded a penalty which Abdul Manaf Umar converted nicely to ensure a win for the away side.
The result meant Hearts of Oak bounced back from their disappointing defeat to Aduana Stars in their previous match.
However Kosta Papic, their Head Coach believes they must work harder to improve their game play despite getting a win.
“From the coaching perspective we are moving forward. Little bit ahead of every match. With time we could imlrove our game,” Kosta Papic said in the post-match interview.
“Three points is very important for us. Scoring the last minute goal to win means we must be happy but I’m not happy.
“Three points is okay, very important but performance is not what I am expecting from my team,” he added.
Hearts of Oak following the win increase their points tally to 8 and lie 7th on the league log.
Their next game will be against Bechem United at home and that will be after the Christmas break.
