The National U-20 Head Coach Abdul Karim Zito has promised to deliver the WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship trophy to Ghanaians on Saturday when his side plays Burkina Faso.
Zito’s Black Satellites are in the final of the competition and face the Young Stallions of Burkina Faso who have been very impressive so far.
They have yet to lose a match in the competition with a record of 2 wins and 2 draws in 4 games played.
Zito has admitted he’s aware of the threat possessed by the side but notes that his side certainly will cause the Burkinabe headaches.
“We are both threats to each other. They are a threat to us and we are a threat to them.
“We know Burkina Faso. They play like how Ghana plays and…They are a very good side that we should not joke with…especially the back line and forward line should be very vigilant and be precise with whatever that we want to do on the field,” Coach Karim Zito said.
“I can’t say this match will be easy. But at the end of the day we will bring the cup home,” he added.
The game kicks off at exactly 3pm GMT and will be streamed live via the official Facebook page of the Ghana Football Association.
The game will take place at the Charles de Gaulle stadium in Porto-Novo, Benin.
