Head coach for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Maxwell Konadu says documentation issues are the reason Fabio Dos Santos Gama is yet to feature for the club.

The Brazilian midfielder was signed by the Porcupine Warriors in November to strengthen the team for the 2020/2021 season.

Despite arriving in Ghana in November, Gama is yet to play a match for Asante Kotoko.

Maxwell Konadu after his side’s defeat to Great Olympics on  Thursday disclosed documentation is what’s hindering the debut of the Brazilian midfielder.

“We’re still waiting for their documentation [Fabio Gama and Naby Keita]. They are foreigners and we will need their documents to be ready before we can use them,” He added.

The Porcupines are hoping the player will be granted the much awaited work permit ahead of their game against Dreams FC on Sunday.
