Burkina Faso has been confirmed as Ghana’s opponents in the final of the ongoing WAFU U-20 Championship.

This was after the Burkina U-20 side  emphatically beat Ivory Coast 4-1 in the semi finals.

Burkina Faso came second in their Group after recording 2 draws and a win in Group A.

They drew 1-1 and goalless against Togo and Niger respectively before beating host nation Niger by a slim margin.

Ghana on the other hand beat Nigeria and lost to Ivory Coast at the Group stage to emerge 2nd.

The Black Satellites then beat Niger via penalty shootout in the semi finals to book a final berth.

The finals of the WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship takes place on Saturday December 19.
