Ghana U-20 striker Percious Boah says he’s poised for action as the Black Satellites prepare to do battle with Niger on Tuesday.
Ghana face Niger in the semi finals of the ongoing WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship currently taking place in Benin.
Niger remain unbeaten so far after recording 5 points in 3 games to top Group A. Ghana recorded a win and a defeat against Nigeria and Ivory Coast respectively to finish second in Group B.
Boah who netted the match winner against Nigeria missed the Ivory Coast clash due to suspension. The talismanic forward has promised to down Niger on his return to the team.
“I have prepared very well for my comeback into the team and I believe victory will be recorded against Niger,” Boah told a presser ahead of the game.
“Ghanaians should support us with prayers so we record a win. I promise to score a goal again. We are determined to qualify and we believe we can make it.
“We will beat our opponents in a manner that will shock many. I am poised for action,” the youngster said in an assured manner.
Niger haven’t lost a game so far in the competition and will be brimming with confidence when they face the Satellites.
However, Boah believes the determination within the Satellites camp is unwavering and they won’t relent in their efforts to overcome the Niger hurdle.
“They haven’t lost a game. The best for any team that faces them is a draw. But we are also determined that we want to bring them down.
“We are self motivated. We are determined to go hard at them and prove we are better than all the opponents they had the better of. So we will pick the victory over them,” Boah concluded.
The clash between Ghana and Niger kicks off at 3pm GMT and will be streamed live in the Ghana Football Association’s Facebook page.
