The Ghana U20 side, the Black Satellites held their recovery training session on Sunday afternoon at the St. Louis Stadium in Krake after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Ivory Coast on Saturday.
The Satellites were served their own dose by the Ivorians who had everything to play for to progress to the semi-finals of the competition.
A 60th minute free kick by Kouadio N’guessan gave the Young Elephants the all-important win to pick a ticket for the last four of the championship.
Ghana had already beaten Nigeria by a lone goal to qualify for the semi-finals, making the result of the clash with Ivory Coast inconsequential to their progress.
The team, on Sunday was led by Coach Evans Adottey for their recovery session with all players taking part.
The session was greeted with good news as Uzair Alhassan and Philimon Baffour who had all picked injuries trained with their team mates.
Ghana is expected to go into full session training on Monday to prepare for their semi-final clash with Niger.
The Satellites will be playing Niger on Tuesday at the Charles de Guelle Sports Stadium in Porto Novo to determine who qualifies to the finals and also pick a ticket to the U20 AFCON in Mauritania next year.
